Pocket Filter Booths
Pocket Filter Booths perform similarly to cartridge filter booth, but on a smaller scale. They are intended for non-production shops using less than 50 lbs of powder each week.
Factors to Consider
Process:
In a pocket filter booth, air is pulled through a pre-filter and a pocket filter before passing the fan. From there, it’s pushed through a final filter. The pre-filter generally catches the most of the airborne particles, while the pocket filter and final filter clean up the rest. Spray booth filters require manual cleaning with a vacuum.

Considerations:
Pocket filter booths come with a higher total cost of ownership — maintenance is much more expensive on one of these booths over time due to more frequent filter replacements and cleanings. However, if your shop doesn’t deal with work in large quantities and only occasionally needs the spray booth, a pocket filter booth might be just the right fit for your needs.
